Self-Analysis Time:
Proverbs 14:1 “A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.”
Am I BUILDING my home by
Speaking with grace and love,
Supporting my husband,
Training my children,
Managing my home and
Myself mentally, physically and emotionally?
Or am I DESTROYING my home with
Using words as weapons,
Ignoring my husband,
Putting off my children,
Neglecting the housework,
Calling my responsibility someone else’s and
Forgetting to keep my body and mind disciplined?
Being an awesome woman is hard work. No matter who you are or whether you have children and a husband. Those around you depend on you.
I’ve been seeing what I need to fix and working toward the goal of becoming a Godly woman for so many years.
This begins a series of articles on how to accomplish Godly womanhood – at least from what I’ve learned so far!
So look in the mirror today and do a self-analysis. Being a godly example NEVER ends.
Here my mother is spending time with her granddaughter – listening to her play and talk about life.
Show love, kindness, wisdom and respect to those around you at ALL times. 🙂
Proverbs 31:28-31
28 Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
29 “There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
31 Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.
